Policy & Federal Action

Goal:

Policy & Federal Action

Goal:

Federal docket: FDA-2025-P-1031. The petition advocates for supplement regulation through novel labeling reforms through utilizing judicial precedent, biochemistry, anecdotes, and quantitative metrics.

“We didn’t wait for adults to fix it. We filed it ourselves.”
Problem:

Teen supplements are underregulated, overhyped, and often marketed with deception—and federal policy hasn’t kept up.

5-Part Solution:
  1. Research teen-targeted PED use and marketing

  2. Write a policy petition backed by legal code (21 CFR §10.30)

  3. Submit to FDA and FTC with full citations

  4. Mobilize public comments and coalition letters

  5. Make the petition part of school education & press

Impact:
  • Petition in public record

  • 2,842 teens surveyed

  • 100+ pages of legal + behavioral justification
